News flash, everybody. Yesterday, at 21 years of age, I bought my first pair of reading glasses. And not to offend anyone older than me - but aren't I a little young for this? At least, I felt old as I wandered past the shelf for the third time, wondering whether anyone would think I was weird for hanging out by the reading glasses rack....
Maybe they would think I was buying them to be trendy....?
...And that I must be really stupid, because those glasses are not meant to be trendy and, in fact, are not trendy. They are magnifying glasses.
But the headaches (especially when you're avoiding Tylenol and Ibuprofen because they're bad for your liver) are awful. And they have helped, alot.
This is a very cute picture of me wearing said glasses.

I have also almost finished decorating the hallway. I painted on Tuesday but I didn't want to put up pictures without before I finished the final touches, but rest assured that before and after pictures are on their way.
In the meantime I'm kind of wondering what hit me this week. First painting all Tues and Wed. Thanksgiving Thurs. Shopping Fri. Yesterday I had to skip ballet I was so tired, and then I went to Frozen with my family and cousins' family. :) Today was church and then my good friend Elizabeth's wedding shower! Tomorrow is ballet. Can I face it? I just want to face plant into my pillow and disappear for a day or so.
You know those weeks when you just want to stretch time and fit another day between the cracks of Sunday and Monday? I think that's most weeks for most of us. :)
By the way, I've got an announcement to make. I'm on chapter 12 of my 15-16 chapter book, and the last chapter's already written so guys - I'm almost done! Chapters 13, 14, and 15 to go. I'm gonna finish this thing, baby!
Have I mentioned how busy December is? Why does everything always fall in December? Couldn't we spread stuff out a bit? It looks overwhelming from this vantage point. I hope it looks less so when I get into the thick of things.
Anna and I just finished savoring Season 3 of Sue Thomas F.B.Eye. Guys, it's an incredible show. It's Christian, it's brilliant, it's funny and sweet and sometimes very sad and intense. Get it at the library.
I look so strange in that picture above. So sass and teeny-bopper (as my grandma would say). I'm not used to seeing my face behind blue frames.
Anyway, I think that's all I have to say for now, or at least it's all my eyes and head can handle. I'm gonna take off these goofy blue glasses and go to bed.
Oh, and someone comment on my Loki post. Goodnight!
