At chattingatthesky.com she does a 31 Day Challenge occasionally. She's done 31 Days of Grace (changed my life), 31 Days of Courage, and she just started 31 Days of Living Art. She seems to always do them in October. I decided before the C. S. Lewis conference this weekend - Now that I have a blog - And a topic so ready at hand -
I'm going do it. I'm going to do 31 Days of C. S. Lewis.
I know he's a person. I know it sounds a little weird. It's not normal, like 31 Days of Living Simply or 31 Days of Cutting Clutter. But I know I want to do it. I know I can do it. I have so much to say about C. S. Lewis.
It will be a chance for me to dive back into his books, revisit my favorite life-shaping quotes by him, share why he's my master, just as the author George MacDonald was his master. Master as in mentor, as my thinking and living has been substantially shaped by his writing. This will be an opportunity to share what I learned at the conference, what I wish had been said at the conference, and why I wish some things hadn't been said.
I hope you'll join me. :)
