I've never thought much of resolutions. But I've always thought lots of dreams. Here are a few dreams for the new year....
1. To move out. I've been thinking about this quite a bit lately. I want to either get an apartment or build a tiny house. If an apartment, I'd love to live with a friend.
2. Get a car. This actually needs to happen before 1.
3. Have a successful third major ballet performance.
4. Finish editing my first book and maybe... dare I say it?... finish writing the second, and/or work on getting them published.
5. Go to Florida (happening in January!!!).
6. Go to Leadership Quest again!
7. Enjoy my 6th year of BAC2ONE Art Camp.
8. Make. A. New. Friend. (High on my list.)
9. Finish my sci-fi story "Lush Planet."
10. Read 45 books (I usually read about 40 a year.)
11. Learn a lot about finances, eating healthy, and ballet.
12. Figure out what's giving me so many headaches!
13. Make art. With my life, with canvas and paint (word art!), and with my keyboard (writing).
14. Live and not let fear back me down!
Namarie, 2013!
You were a year of changes... a year of healthy changes and breathing deeply. Here's to 2014 being a year of breathing deeply because I'm falling at 200 miles an hour and I'm opening my wings to FLY.
I suppose I should be careful what I wish for. But I do wish that next Christmas I would be in a place where I can love more, be more independent, and have the time, energy, and motivation to be ever more creative. I hope I'm more me in 2014 than I've ever been.
